GARAGE ART @ Scharnhorststr. 32 Berlin (Hamburger Bahnhof)

Some great things that have changed our lives came from garages:

– Hewlett-Packard’s garage in Silicon Valley
– Garage bands from the Sixties to Iggy Pop
– Bill’s Microsoft garage
– Galleries in New York’s Chelsea district
– Bakhmetevsky Bus Garage ???

Now there is garage art in Berlin:

FREE STUDIO SPACE

From August 8 to 30, 2012 Natulis Art Temporary offers nine free studios for artists in Berlin’s Scharnhorststraße 32. Located in close vicinity of Hamburger Bahnhof and right behind Invalidenpark. Natulis provides free temporary studio space to ambitious and energetic artists seeking a community of like-minded people in a unique and experimental environment.

TERMS

Sizes range from 44 to 55 m2 of raw studio space (old GDR-style garages). The successful applicant will be able to use the studio space free of charge, but „as is“. There are no fees for utilities and the garages can be returned in any state imaginable.

TOPICS

Ephemeral, time sensitive art at tremendous growth rates will be favored. The buildings will go afterwards- so be creative.
